Annet Mahendru

Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German, Russian English in addition to French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father and mother of a Russian mother. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 which aired on German television, turned her into an Russian dancer who was a snow maiden. Following her graduation of New York's top High School, she was awarded her bachelor's in English degree from St. John's University. She studied acting classes in the HB Studios, but then went on to study improv comedy at the Groundlings School. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and an Russian mother Olga. Her parents separated when she was 13 years young and was moved from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She is a part of Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in The Americans on FX. The Americans. The actress is most famous for her role as the ex- KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
