Mena Alexandra (born on the 13th of February 1979) is an actress and model hailing in the US. Shortly after beginning her career as a model she soon began acting as a guest on 90's TV shows like Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her debut on film was the drama Nowhere which was released in 1997. Her transition into major roles with her performances in American Beauty for which she was nominated for an BAFTA Award and American Pie and American Pie, both of which gained more attention. She was in the film industry for a year, and appeared with her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. In 2001, she took on the leading part on the film Sugar & Spice (2000). In 2002, she appeared in Spun the independent drama and 2004's thriller Trauma. In HBO's drama series Six Feet Under. In 2004 she was nominated as the Outstanding Cast Member at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. The filmography she starred in was Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the adaptation to The Garden of Eden and numerous other films. Suvari has been a model for Lancome cosmetics and print ads in the brand's Lancome Paris Adaptive and has been featured in several magazines and fashion blogs like Vogue. She has long been an advocate for and champion for the African Medical and Research Foundation.
